We've been using them since Jack was like 3 months old I think? I've never seen them at any of the big-box stores (BJs, Cosco). I think they retail for about $19/box, which usually lasts us a month.
We use Luvs for daytime occasionally, and they don't leak which is fine, but they swell up like CRAZY, and the little beady things come out more often than with Huggies.SSGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05667906070142027775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5399720861396381975.post-77847795503033613362012-06-10T15:30:07.321-06:002012-06-10T15:30:07.321-06:00That hat that he's wearing is adorable! That hat that he's wearing is adorable!Jamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11708857742804062091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5399720861396381975.post-47605462062778118072012-06-09T08:47:47.126-06:002012-06-09T08:47:47.126-06:00Thanks, Brit! Thanks, Brit!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5399720861396381975.post-65493343034515422742012-06-09T08:47:36.506-06:002012-06-09T08:47:36.506-06:00He's not a consistent super soaker...only once...He's not a consistent super soaker...only once in awhile so I think the regulars will be fine. Maybe buy a little pack & try it if you haven't. Overnights are MUCH MUCH more expensive than the regular ones. I've been doing overnights for quite a while because they peed through regulars, but I'm not going to buy them once this stash is gone. I think they'll be fine. We started not filling up that glass of milk before bed. Just one with supper & we let them have a glass if they ask. And its made a difference for us. Plus with Liv... since she rarely wakes up wet. That diaper we can even re-use!

I think its like $0.15-$0.17 per diaper for regular Walmart diapers. So thats pretty cheap. I hated Walmart diapers with my kids as babies, but as toddlers they work fine. I was going to suggest Target to, as those are my true faves. But Walmart are cheaper. I know people like Walgreens & Cost-co brands too. But I would maybe try a pack of regulars before overnights, because they really are almost twice as expensive.

And I wouldn't do pull-ups for night yet either, because those are more expensive too. Maybe when they get to the point where they are just occasionally wet overnight & you can re-use it. And its easier to take off for middle of the night potty stops.

Hope its an ok transition for you. Hard mentally I imagine. But hopefully its not leak-full.Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07382510534747063265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5399720861396381975.post-9468191048180700902012-06-08T10:10:24.672-06:002012-06-08T10:10:24.672-06:00Costco has great prices, I've always found the...Costco has great prices, I've always found them to be the most reasonable since the boxes are huge! I'm not sure what size Braden takes but I bought a box of Huggies for 39.98(sale price) and it has 234 diapers. Regular price is $5 more. They also have the Pull Ups there, and the boxes have night and day ones. Natalie has been wearing the night ones and no leaks yet!!!!
