And it made me feel inadequate and bad as a mom, but my OB would always just be like, it's no big. Your belly is growing, your baby is growing and your fluid is perfect. She did at one point recommend that I try to eat more as I had only gained 3 lbs at the start of the third tri, but never made a huge deal out of it.Sarah @ Vol Family Life https://www.blogger.com/profile/16412363405874844966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5399720861396381975.post-73594520356428628722012-08-16T17:21:26.365-06:002012-08-16T17:21:26.365-06:00That's why I did the first trimester U/S too, ...That's why I did the first trimester U/S too, just wanted the extra chance to see baby. My little Henry is obsessed with all things Thomas and tractors too. I feel him and see him all the time but I swear he gets stage fright when the camera comes out! haha :) And yes friend, let's enjoy these final weeks of pregnancy. It's not in our hands as it is and if something should happen, He's got it in control ;)Careyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01821680646756607968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5399720861396381975.post-51274139087340164952012-08-15T13:43:57.836-06:002012-08-15T13:43:57.836-06:00I chose to have the first trimester screening done...I chose to have the first trimester screening done with this pregnancy, just because I wanted the extra ultrasound, and it has caused so much extra stress. Because of my results, I've been having monthly growth u/s and twice weekly NSTs since 30 weeks (for low PAPP-A and high HCG).

And in response to your dieting comment, I completely agree. I gained 44 pounds with my first (because I had absolutely no self control and ate whatever I wanted), so I was DETERMINED to do better with this pregnancy. I followed the low-carb/high-protien Gestational Diabetes diet for the first 7-8 months, and yet I gained the normal, recommended amount of weight. I'm almost 39 weeks and up 33 pounds. Whatever!

Best of luck to you. I'm glad to hear that you and your doctor on the same page. :-) Taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11988216116175708035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5399720861396381975.post-70439994424677156502012-08-15T08:10:19.852-06:002012-08-15T08:10:19.852-06:00Haha, isn't that insane?!Haha, isn't that insane?!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5399720861396381975.post-89419335324298269492012-08-15T08:10:04.169-06:002012-08-15T08:10:04.169-06:00Even with preterm labor (not sure if you've ha...Even with preterm labor (not sure if you've had it yet? Hope not!) there's nothing you can do about it - the first time, so don't bother worry about it. I'm not taking any day for granted, but I went 4 days overdue for Braden, and I'm honestly praying for the same. It would throw me for such a big loop, even if I was term, if baby came early! Oh well, not up to us...it never is!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5399720861396381975.post-20291767425766252412012-08-15T07:52:04.741-06:002012-08-15T07:52:04.741-06:00Squishy is quite a dancer!! Unless it's preterm labor, that still freaks me out!

We are about the same gestation, and I see the same movements. Baby's elbows, knees, and feet are really starting to hurt though. What a cute belly you have! :-)Mrs. Vhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16917646394210368508noreply@blogger.com
