WOW!!!!

Braden was all about "WOW!!!" the other day as we watch a spray airplane fly back and forth below our house. For all you non-farming folks, before and now after the crops are seeded...they need to be sprayed to kill off the weeds and volunteer crops (crops that were seeded there last year or years before) so that the new crop has more room to grow and isn't being taken over by weeds. When it's too wet/muddy and you can't get the tractor/sprayer into the field, another option is to pay for an airplane to spray the crop...as so:

You can see the white mist, which is the chemicals that kill the weeds:

These guys fly unbelievably low to the ground and pull up at the very last second to avoid the power lines/trees/buildings that are sometimes at the edge of a field.

We got Braden a water/sand (minus sand right now due to kitties) table off Kijiji for $40 and he likes to try and swim in it:

Uh oh! (Also going vrooom and watching the plane!)

I tried to help the arctic snow dog cool off in the 25 degree C weather by bringing her a water dish with ice cubes...but Braden took the ice cubes out and did "uh oh's" over the deck with them!

It's tough being a husky on a hot day!
