Braden had his 2 week appointment and he's going to be a big boy!! He weighs 9 lbs already! I couldn't believe it. At the 2 week appointment they are expected to be back at their birth weight, and it's absolutely fine if they gain more, but I thought he might have been in the 8 lb range! So he gained exactly 1.5 lbs from what he lost at birth as he was 7 lbs 6 oz at his home visit from the public health nurse when he was 2 days old.We're in Beaumont right now for Braden's first out-of-town trip visiting Grandma & Grandpa. We stopped in Camrose on the way to have dinner with Great Grandma and to sneak in a visit. Braden did very well traveling and we learned not to make extra pit stops...because then Braden wakes up and wants to EAT NOW!! So anyways, Braden got to meet some very important people today!

Braden's birthday buddy Uncle BenWe've done very well on our first trip, Braden's a rock star! He is such a content little guy, he's sleeping well in his nursery and enjoying his visits (at least, I think he is!). Tomorrow we will head home after supper and we will make a little trip into the city to visit with Uncle Steve.
