I have seen the wonderful clothing of
Séraphine Maternity being modeled by a lot of my favorite pregnant bloggers over the last year or so. How I coveted to be wearing their beautiful clothing too, especially since I was expecting! Then, as luck would have it I
won a store credit from one of my favorite blogs. I was so thrilled, as we had a wedding just this last weekend and I wanted something new, but also didn't really want to fork over the money to do so!

I ended up choosing this beautiful and sexy in a sophisticated way,
two-tone cocktail dress from Séraphine and I am in LOVE! I thought it was perfect for a fall wedding, and though I also loved this
black shift dress too, but the two maternity/nursing dresses I already own are all black so I wanted to stray away from all black.
So my review on the dress?
GIVE ME MORE! If I had unlimited funds and more than 6 weeks left in my pregnancy, I would fill my wardrobe with Séraphine clothing! Having said that, this dress is worth EVERY penny. This dress was made from 92% viscose 8% Elasthanne material, but to non-fashionista me...it felt like a really nice jersey material, which is every pregnant mama's go-to material in my books! It was SO comfortable. I have worn some empire shirts/dresses in the past where the elastic under the breast eventually suffocates you, but their clothing is so well made that I wasn't uncomfortable at all. I loved how the ruching of the dress hugged and defined my bump...and also made my bum look nice too! There's nothing I can't stand more than that tented feeling where dresses fall over your bump! It makes me feel like I'm wearing a moo moo, so not sexy at all! Also because of the ruching, this dress fell perfectly above my knees and wasn't too short in the front like a lot of maternity dresses are. The v-neck was deeper than I thought, but it was a classy neckline that didn't show off too much cleavage - it was just the right amount! I got a ton of compliments on this dress at the wedding and I really hope that I can wear it again sometime! Heck, maybe I'll wear it grocery shopping today!
A little birdie told me that I might have some exciting news to share with you in a couple of weeks...more to do with Séraphine! Keep coming back to check but for now, you can follow them on
