Special Visitors

So we've had lots of special visitors out to the farm lately! Lisa came and visited on Thursday night and it was so great to see her again. She brought us some Crave cupcakes - yummy! They are so delicious. And then...yesterday morning Jay's dad called over and told us to go look at the elevator. Jay wasn't interested, but as soon as I stepped out all you could hear was all the HONKING! I saw these two Canadian geese in the field across from the house the day before...and now they were hanging out of top of the elevator!

I thought that was kinda neat. And the last special visitor is my Mom! She's here for Mother's Day weekend. Celebration in the family in the traditional way seems to be at a halt, but I decided to carry on with tradition and celebrate anyway - it is my first one afterall! So, I made reservations at the mercantile in Rosebud for Mother's Day brunch. I look very forward to it and hopefully the weather is nice so we can take some pics outside tomorrow after!
