It was Standard's annual Sports Days, aka a big gathering of the community for baseball, breakfast, the parade, activities for the kids, supper, dance, etc! So we went for an early pancake breakfast at the hall and Braden these days...is a pain to go out and eat with. He's just way too distracted to want to actually sit down and eat. He still LOVES to eat, especially breakfast but he just wanted to go go go! Then we had about 1 hour to kill until the parade started, so we went for a walk in our awesome new stroller and ended up finding Tessa! Look how blonde she is getting!
I'm glad they are "so happy" to see each other! And here's Tessa tickling Braden's legs
Katie was on her horse Buddy and Robyn was going to walk in the parade with them
Here's our crew ready for the parade!
We had to chase Braden out of the parade a couple of times, but he was content on Daddy's shoulders...for awhile anyway!
Love this pic of Trinity, Laura, & Deah
There's Marchella in the play school float!

Miniature horses!
Katie & Robyn again
Candy, candy, candy!
Collecting candy is fun! And he eventually noticed that people in the parade were throwing him candy...so he started throwing it back at them! :)
What a guy!
Had a few bites of his first freezy!
Mark & Serena pulling the library, or "li-barry" as the MC said, float
We had fun, and next year I hope Braden will be all that more mature and not run into the parade and will be so happy to collect lots of candy and not make his mommy and/or daddy heard him all day long! Phew! It's so busy chasing an almost 17 month old busy boy around! Mamas to twin or triplet boys (or busy girls) I do NOT know how you do it! :)
Here's the pics off my real camera of the thunderstorm from that night...
love the pics from sports days - you're sneaky with that camera!
