I haven't participated in awhile, but this is one of my favorite pictures as of late and it screams YELLOW!

This was pretty easy to pic! It might not be my best "shot" of the year...but it's my favorite picture of the year for sure! Love the smile, the wheat, the jean jacket....and that child of course!

I know this only has Braden's hand...and it doesn't show him...but this is my favorite picture from this month. It just captures his imagination, love of Thomas, and his uncoordinated toddlerness as Thomas is being derailed in this picture! Just love it!

And in light of the glorious day that is today...

We're celebrating with my family today, enjoyed Christmas movies last night, we'll eat and eat and eat and I cannot WAIT for Braden to open up his presents tonight!!

The Paper Mama's Holiday Photo Challenge

This is my first year entering the challenge. I'm not a whizz at PhotoShop like Chelsey. That girl is AMAZING! I'd love to be able to learn how to add graphics and extra pictures in my pictures...but for now, my basic editing skills in PhotoShop Elements 6 and playing around with Picnik will have to do! This photo I did for the contest:

It's fun and it's cute! For our real Christmas cards, I usually get Pink Dot Design to do them, but I decided to save a bit of money and just wing it myself! Last year I took Braden's Christmas card picture at the end of October to get the early bird special from PDD...but I was not on the ball this year! I hope that most of you have received your Christmas cards from me...I like it to be a surprise! If not...you'll be getting it soon, I hope! This is our actual Christmas card that I sent out...

I don't know what it is about this picture...but he was just watchin' Bob...eatin' a cookie and he just had that goofy face! Hair dishevelled a bit...just a perfectly cute Braden!

How could I not pick this photo for this week's challenge? My all-time favorite picture of Braden smiling! Which is also making me kind of queasy about getting that "perfect" picture for our Christmas card this year! I think I just have to throw in the white towel on getting a perfect, happy, smiling picture of my (soon-to-be) 22 month old! Taking pictures this weekend with Jess, so hopefully we get some good shots! Have a great weekend!
