C'est Moi

I don't know if you've noticed...but I don't talk a lot about myself, per se, on this blog. It's all about Braden...and I'm totally cool with that! I admire a lot of bloggers out there who take self-portraits regularly and talk about themselves on their blogs, I really like getting to know them better that way. Mostly it's for fashion-related blog posts...which you will never see on this blog, I don't consider myself a fashionista whatsoever! So, last week when Braden was taking a super nap, I had a shower, did my hair, splashed on some make-up (to look nice to go get our flu shots when he woke up!), and decided I'd try the self-portrait thing....

I'm actually growing my hair a bit now. At least another 2 months until we go to Maui...it's just so much easier to have longer hair going to a tropical place, I have enough natural curl/wave in my hair that I don't have to do it the whole trip! Here's some selfies from past...

"5 Things About Me" was going viral on Instagram last week. I never got tagged, which doesn't bother me...so I'm just going to do it here. 5 things you may, or may not know, about me!

1. I have a birth mark on the bottom of my right foot on my heel. It's about the size of a kidney bean and it's faded over the years. Every single pedicure I've had...they try to scratch it off my foot!
2. I used to have a dimple on my right cheek when I smile. It's still there, but I have to work really hard to get it to show!
3. I really wanted to be a pharmacist in high school...I'm really glad I changed my mind!
4. I was a competitive figure skater until I was about 16. Did I also mention I'm about 6'1" tall? I picked the wrong sport!
5. I am the only person on either sides of my family that doesn't need glasses! Meaning that my parents, brother, Jay, his parents, and all his sisters wear glasses...but not me (except for a minor stint in grade 2 or 3...but we wont' count that)! Praise God!
